Heriot-Watt’s School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences has a five-year MEng programme, which offers students a valuable opportunity to enhance their employability whilst deepening their commercial understanding within their chosen field. Students are available to start their industry placements in the Summer of their fourth year of the programme. Placements will last for up to 6 months, with a minimum of three months if starting in September. We expect all of our placement students to be paid a Living Wage where possible in line with UK employment standards.

No fee is payable to the University for sourcing a placement, and employers will have access to a dedicated placement team to support them throughout the placement process.
