Help us reach 2000 placements

e-Placement Scotland, the employability programme introduced by ScotlandIS to tackle the IT skills gap, is on the cusp of securing its 2000th paid student placement.

With just 17 placements to go, we're offering free job advertisements, student outreach, candidate shortlisting, interview scheduling and HR support until the end of April 2018. Could you offer a talented student an opportunity within your ogranisation? It's not too late to recruit for your summer placements.

Through working with e-Placement Scotland, employers have access to:

  • Our database of over 4000 students from universities and colleges across Scotland, all seeking relevant placement opportunities - these students come from a range of IT disciplines, including software engineering, computing science, digital marketing, data science and electronics engineering.
  • Job specification writing, targeted e-shots and social media promotion.
  • Our dedicated matching service, ensuring we find the right student for you. We can handle all applications and arrange interviews on your behalf.
  • Our 2018 events programme - all employers with live placement opportunities will have priority access to our student networking events.

Placements can be full time or part time at any point in the year - we're flexible to your requirements and will work closely with you to help find your perfect match.
