Join us for the summer as an intern working in the Technical Development and Delivery Engineering team. The Engineering Team plays an important role in the protection of Lloyds Banking Group by developing operational detective controls.
What you will be doing...
In this role you'll use data analytics solutions to drive innovation and enable the cyber threat management strategy. You’ll also develop and implement threat monitoring use cases, derived
from appropriate threat intelligence sources and advanced data modelling techniques.
Responsible for assisting in the delivery within the Technical Development & Delivery function. This consists of:
- Technical development of the SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), SOAR (Security Orchestration Automation and Response) and other relevant toolsets including DLP .
- Performs standard and non-routine administrative data processing tasks for leadership and gives colleagues advice on the proper performance of departmental processes. Accesses required information for specific purposes using the data management system.
- Works within current standard compliance processes, systems, and procedures, and reports simple non-compliance issues.
- Implements improvements and carries out simple change management tasks by following established procedures to support others.
- Performs simple risk monitoring and assessment tasks by following established procedures in order to provide support to others.
- Follows existing procedures and precedents in determining the correct course of action for routine functional enquiries.
Working Patterns
Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
Essential criteria
Studying towards a qualification in a Cyber Security discipline, ideally in 3rd of 4th year.
