About the company
Ottopoint are a Glasgow based technology company who have developed a market engagement platform for the car market and we are weeks away from launching the platform which consists of a mobile app that rules over all other motoring mobile apps and a supplier platform where dealerships will want to use to connect with their motorists.
We think our idea is pretty cool but, here’s the thing...we’re looking for a superstar who knows how to get the best out of social media and is not afraid of being adventurous.
This role will be awesome for someone who wants to be the star of the “Ottopoint show” by posting all their cool images, captions, stories for our readers to enjoy!
We are setting up a permanent base in Glasgow, however we have already started the journey in setting up in the US and we have even had a few interesting conversations going in other parts of the world!
About the role
The right candidate will be coming in as an intern initially on a part-time basis with a view to joining us full time.
Can you work out how to get the best of Instagram, FB, Twitter, Linkedin and YouTube?
Do you know how to engage with people on social media?
Then you may just be the person we are looking for – Having some interest in cars is great but not essential.
Not taking yourself too seriously IS essential.
We want someone who has awesome ideas and who is not scared in taking a few risks (without causing offence of course!)
Responsibilities
- Creating content for the posts.
- Scheduling posts and knowing when to schedule them
- Coming up with plans on how we can better engage with our customers and app users
- Creating a content bank / folder and maintaining it
We are a young company and this will be an adventure for the right person just as much its an adventure for us!

- Attention to detail is super crucial.
Desirable Skills
