About Scottish Games Week
We’re a new games event, taking place across the whole of Scotland from October 30th - November 3rd 2023.
We believe in ecosystem not industry. Games are far larger, more diverse and more transformative than any other areas of the digital and creative industries right now. So we’re digging into all of the beautiful and strange ways that games are changing our world.
Our first event in October 22 picked us up a nomination in the MCV/DEVELOP Awards, so we’re planning even bigger, better things for SGW23.
We have five major events taking place this year:
SGW Conference (Edinburgh - Oct 30th-31st)
Scottish Games Education Network Symposium (Dundee - Nov 1st)
Scottish Games Awards (Glasgow - November 2nd)
More Than Games (Glasgow - November 3rd)
In addition, we welcome and support satellite and fringe events which take place anywhere around the world and/or online.
Strong project management skills, timeline management, and resource allocation.
Excellent organisational abilities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with speakers, sponsors and partners.
Passion for gaming and knowledge of the gaming industry, its trends, and key players preferred.
Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and deliver unique event experiences.
It would be advantageous if you have some experience as in a similar role, preferably within the gaming or tech industry.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as events required but must be available to attend in person all events during Scottish Games Week.
