PHP Developer (E-Commerce) – West of Scotland – 12 Months – Part Time

 

About the company

Operating since 1965, Toolstop is a retailer and wholesaler of professional tools to the trade industry.  Going from strength to strength, they are now one of the UK's largest independent stockists and distributors of quality professional tools with one of the largest ranges of power tools, hand tools and cordless power tools on the web.  In recent months they have had an increase focus on expanding their online presence and as such have recently re-platformed the website to Magento 2 Commerce Edition and as such now have a part-time requirement for some in-house development expertise.

 

About the role

Working within the Web Team at Toolstop your role will be to assist with the current external agency as well as being responsible for the internal merchandising and marketing teams in developing new features and modules for the Magento 2 website.  You will be required to work 20 hours per week for a 12 Month period.

 

About you

In order to be considered you will need the following:

Essential Skills:

  • PHP development experience
  • HTML knowledge
  • JS knowledge
  • Styling skills
  • Good communication skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Online retail / ecommerce experience
  • MySQL skills
