Our organisation has been in existence for over 30 years, changing the lives of young people by implementing creative learning and filmmaking projects, providing pathways to brighter futures and, where appropriate, into further education and the creative industries. Our admin and evaluation systems have developed over this period into a series of standalone project based files, and, due to the significant growth requirements of the the organisation over the last two years (with operations spreading throughout the East Coast of Scotland and up into the Highlands) we would like to move from our current mix of paper and digital systems to a fully integrated digital system. We see this development as essential to the continued expansion of the organisation, creating a more streamlined and informed organisation, where staff are able to easily access appropriate information from a variety of locations and where information is adequately protected. At present we lack the expertise or time within our current staffing complement. Therefore the business growth project is to implement a co-ordinated approach to digital information management to improve the availability, security and flow of information throughout the organisation
