Video and Web Developer, Strathpeffer - Highlands

Salary:  £7.85 per hour, 35 hours per week for 12 weeks

We are a charitable run community centre. Here you will find information on a range of activities including children's groups, fitness and the new learning centre. In addition you will find information for our business customers regarding room hire, catering arrangements, booking forms and price lists. Don't forget we can hold weddings and large family functions.

Role:

Identify and design appropriate videos Use video and editing software Train existing staff in video and editing software Upload videos to various social media outlets Design and implement a marketing campaign to promote the videos.

Person Specification:

Essential:

1.Experience of producing short videos
2.Ability to upload videos to social media outlets
3.Ability to implement a marketing campaign
4.Knowledge of the different social media outlets
5.Ability to work using own initiative as well as being an effective team member

Desirable:

1.Knowledge of  free video and editing software
2.Experience of getting a video to go viral
3.Understanding of the plight of community centre or village halls
4.Ability to express ideas and explain them to a range of people
