Front End Developer, 1 Year Full time from Summer, Glasgow

We are looking for a talented undergraduate developer to join our front end development team.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in taking design mock-ups and converting them into pixel-perfect responsive layouts, as well as adapting and customising existing builds in line with changing business needs. All work must be tested and optimised across many different platforms and devices, with problem-solving and polish applied when necessary.

In order to apply you will need:

• HTML5 & CSS3
• Basic working knowledge of jQuery/JavaScript and their capabilities
• Responsive web design implementation
• Understanding of web standards
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop)
• Work to meet deadlines both independently and collaboratively

In addition, skills or experience in any of the following areas would be of definite benefit, but are not essential to apply:

• Familiarity with use of CSS pre-processors and SASS
• Knowledge of, and interest in, current and emerging web technologies

• Experience of taking designs from initial brief to final build
• Implementing with Content Management Systems (e.g. Wordpress, Umbraco, Magento)
