Web Developer, 3 months, Bathgate, Starting ASAP

Placement Duration: 3 months until December 2018
Remuneration: £9.50 per hour
Hours (part time): 16-20 hours per week

About the Role

We currently have a short-term job opportunity which may be suitable for a 1st, 2nd or 3rd year Web Development student. 

We have a large WordPress website which serves as both an E-Learning and E-Commerce platform for our customers. Due to a recent WordPress theme update, we need to reorganise and reformat all the HTML pages shown on the site.

Job Specifics

  • 16 to 20 hours per week (negotiable to suit your Uni timetable)
  • Short term until Christmas 2018 (but could be extended for right the right candidate)
  • To assist the Head of Technology with the reformatting of the WordPress website.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

  • Must be comfortable with HTML & CSS
  • Previous experience using WordPress
  • We are located in Bathgate, West Lothian. Presence in the office is expected but remote working may be permitted.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of SQL databases could be handy
  • Prior job/commercial experience would be beneficial but not mandatory
  • It would be nice to see a Portfolio if possible
