The role

Pro-Sapien is looking for a technically gifted individual to join our growing team in Glasgow.  Your day to day activities will include delivery of new product features, including design and implementation of our Microsoft-based product suite.  Other activities will include working on customisations for our global client base, producing high-quality documentation and testing upcoming releases.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your existing software development skills, while gaining experience with some of top IT skills in demand: Microsoft Azure, AngularJS, HTML5, C#, SharePoint / Office 365 and SQL Server.

Pro-Sapien products are based on the Microsoft platform. Increasing numbers of organisations are selecting Azure and Office 365 as the primary platform for future systems development. Adoption of Office 365 has increased 150 per cent in the last year, and Microsoft Azure is adding 1,000 customers a day.  Development skills for these platforms are in demand and at the cutting edge of software development.

In addition to technical skills, you will gain invaluable experience of modern software development in industry, including agile management methodologies such as Kanban. 

Experience / Skills

Candidates should have some experience in the following from their studies:
•    Software development in any object oriented language e.g. C# or Java
•    Web development (HTML, JavaScript, and any server side language e.g. JSP or PHP)
•    Database development (using a database system based on SQL).

As well as technical skills, candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills
•    Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
•    Attention to detail and commitment to quality
•    Ability to react quickly and effectively to issues and opportunities
