A Summer 2019 Internship with BBOXX, an opportunity to change the world.
BBOXX designs, manufactures, distributes and finances innovative plug & play utility systems to improve access to energy across Africa and the developing world.
Our 2 options for Summer Internships start from the end of March (6 months internships) and the end of June (2-3 month internships)
During this time you will have strong support from your line manager and extended team. Plus regular “check-ins” with your fellow interns.
You will have the opportunity to work on personal development, your study subject and exciting BBOXX projects.
During the internship we will work with you to consider future opportunities at BBOXX once you have finished your studies.

About the role
The hardware team at BBOXX are responsible for full end to end hardware development. The team have successfully launched several products and have 100K+ units already in the field. The mechanical engineers create physical design from concept, mock up / prototypes all the way to final design. They work with internal product owners and finally with tooling vendors to create best possible solutions You will work alongside a team of hardware engineers to design / develop, test and document new designs for our in-house products Join this team if you want to see a full development lifestyle and work on bringing power to thousands of users
