Background
Sky is currently seeking an Intern to join our Infrastructure Operations team in Livingston for Summer 2019.
Sky Infrastructure Operations are the lifeblood of Sky’s critical internal and external systems, designing, delivering and supporting our IT infrastructure which includes servers, databases, data storage and batch processing systems. Join as an intern analyst and you'll be part of our dynamic team helping us to maintain a world class operation. We will provide a great environment for you to further your learning and showcase your talents.
Responsibilities
As a member of our operations team, you will be helping to deliver projects and supporting systems alongside our teams of experts.
What you can expect:
- To be working in one of our teams supporting and delivering solutions that enhance our customers experience across all of Sky’s TV, Mobile, Broadband & Talk products and services.
- To get experience with some of the following; Enterprise class databases, Linux, virtualised servers and mass data storage.
- To be buddied up with some of our highly knowledgeable senior engineers so that you can learn as much as possible during your 12 weeks with the team.
