About the role

Sibbald Training are currently looking for a Summer intern to act as a Digital Marketing / Social Media Assistant as part of their busy team. They are looking for an ambitious student who will combine marketing and social media management skills to help to enhance the business's social media presence, which will include updating blog articles, promoting brand-focused interactive and engaging content, and expanding opportunities for engagement.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Create engaging text, image and video content to use across all social media platforms
• Create standardised social media and blog templates
• Manage and oversee social media content engagement and interactions
• Measure the success of every social media campaign based on agreed KPI's
• Keep abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies
• Use social media marketing tools
• Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create networking and branding opportunities
• Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and followers using social listening

About you     

Our ideal candidate is someone who is accurate, diligent at the same time creative and thoughtful with an ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

What We Require:        

• Extremely adept and proficient in the use of MS Office suite.
• Highly organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
• Fearless – not afraid to be a bold and outside the box thinker.
• General excitement and ability to learn new skills.
• Working towards a degree in a relevant subject

Preferred:

• Skilled in Marketing, Communication, or other related discipline.
• Love for using social media and networking sites.
• Understanding of Search Engine Optimisation preferred but not essential
• Experience of HTML & CSS
• Wordpress
• Holder of a clean valid driver licence with access to your own vehicle
