About the role
As a Data Analyst placement student, you will be tasked with building a prospective planning tool for materials and equipment related demand. Previous experience of building, updating and maintaining databases is preferred but not essential, but it is essential that you have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Access.
Your initial task will be the collation and assessment of material and equipment data related to testing and manufacturing services, with a view to then creating a database with associated analytical and reporting tools.
The successful applicant will initially start the position remotely, but if circumstances allowed would move to being office based in Glasgow. A laptop will be provided to you for the duration of the project, but any applicants must have internet connection with sufficient bandwith, in order to be able to undertake the placement remotely.
