Sales/Marketing Intern, Full time, Edinburgh - 3 Months

This exciting new company are involved in creating an effortless way for anyone to run, discover and join activities right on their doorstep.  Clazzoo are currently looking to recruit a Sales/Marketing intern for a period of 3 months.

Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for brilliant sales and customer service professionals to join our team and help us build our presence in Scotland.

Your responsibilities will include: 

Sales and Seller Inventory Growth

  • Responsible for growing the quantity and variety of clubs, classes and listings throughout Scotland

  • Analyse and benchmark existing supply to identify growth opportunities and build a sellers network Identify strategies to grow the market and develop effective channels to acquire sellers of activities

  • On-board and educate local sellers with best-selling practices

  • Responsible for ensuring high quality and quantity of sellers and listings across Scotland.

  • Working proactively and independently to meet targets and goals

User Customer Experience  

  • Ensure the best possible experience for all users

  • Be on the front lines working with users every day and gathering feedback

  • Partnering with the product team and communicate feedback

  • Be a first point of contact to handle and resolve customer complaints

  • Compose thoughtful and accurate messages or customize prepared responses to user support enquiries

  • Assisting in building a user support system

 Skills & Experience Required 

Essential:

  • Experience in a business/sales environment, preferably working within the leisure, travel or technology industry

  • Ability to negotiate with small local vendors and build relationships

  • Quick on your feet with excellent people skills

  • Patience and empathy for the user’s experience

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work under pressure, independently and adapt quickly to adverse situations

  • Knowledge of and experience with measuring and improving customer satisfaction and loyalty

  • Motivation to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Studying towards a University Degree at Junior Honors or Senior Honors level

Desirable:

  • Experience of organising and providing a class, club or activity

  • Previous experience in project managing small scale events

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems

  • Previous, demonstrable experience with creation of online help resources

  • Experience with policy work, or help resource project management
